2017 : 50th edition of our ‘Flanders Grand Prix’

Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday, August 13th Zwaantjes Roller Club organizes it’s 50th Flanders Grand Prix Inline Skating. A three-day international speed skating championship at top level. From young to old, all athletes with ambition strive to put this race on their palmares/CV. This year the Mundial track is in a festive mood, as it’s the 50th edition or our international race The three-day competition has become Flanders' largest and most beautiful skating competition. It was originally intended to give local youth the opportunity to compete with athletes from abroad (at our first edition we had 3 clubs from France, Germany and the UK) Youth, however, grew up ... and so did the meeting. in 2016 we had +/- 600 athletes from all over the world. Now the competition is not only a meeting place for active athletes, but also former athletes/trainers continue to sign present at this annual gathering of the inline speed skating sport .. Admission to the event is free to the public. On Thursday evening – August 10th – we celebrate our 50th edition with young and old athletes, family & supporters, with free catering, drinks, live music, ….
